Voices from the Past After Dark!

Friday, October 23 & Saturday, October 24

Voices From The Past AFTER DARK returns to Historic Elmwood Cemetery for its third Halloween event, transforming the 173-year-old grounds into a haunted stage where murders, tragedies, cold crime cases, and long-buried secrets rise from Charlotte’s past. Some stories are too dark to tell in the daylight.

Settlers’ Cemetery Monument Reinstallation

During the late 1990’s, a major restoration occurred in Settler’s Cemetery. Following that preservation effort, vandalized and damaged headstones remain in storage. Donate to be part of a second round of preservation to include the reinstallation of those headstones.

Help Restore the Legacy of Patrick Harty

During Hurricane Helene, the historic box tomb and family plot of Patrick Harty, one of Mecklenburg County’s earliest and most respected craftsmen, was damaged and now urgently needs restoration.

We have the opportunity to preserve his memory and craftsmanship by restoring his final resting place. Your donation will go directly toward the careful repair and preservation of the Harty family plot and box tomb, ensuring this vital piece of Charlotte’s history is not lost.

History in the heart of the city.
