Angel Society
This is your opportunity be an Angel by funding the repair and/or cleaning of the monument of your choice. Select the one you want and we’ll take care of acquiring any permissions and employing the cleaning/repair crew. When completed, you’ll receive a before and after photo of the monument. You can also choose to participate in a crowdsourced fundraiser.

Contribute to the full replacement of the Charlie Houck Memorial by clicking below. Houck was a 65 year old man and animal trainer for the circus. One night after feeding the lions, Houck was pulled to the cage by one of the lions. He was able to free himself, but died around a week later from an infection caused by the lion mauling his arm.

Making a difference
Due to the generous donations of the Angel Society members below, 14 angel/lady/cherub monuments in Historic Elmwood Pinewood Cemetery have been cleaned. These donors would like to challenge others to join the Society and become part of the effort to preserve noteworthy monuments throughout the cemeteries.
