Preserve part of Charlotte history

October 5 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Historic Elmwood Pinewood, Inc has partnered with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission to preserve headstones in Elmwood Pinewood Cemetery. Using a process approved for use in veteran cemeteries across the country, the group will be given a brief in-service in the process for gently cleaning stones, then volunteers will clean approximately fifty stones.
