Settlers’ Cemetery Preservation Timeline
1998 - Preservation Round 1
• All marked graves plotted
• Bronze markers erected to show grave sites and decedent names
• Unmarked graves plotted
• Vandalized/damaged monuments photographed/cataloged/crated/placed in storage
• Major landscaping and hard-scaping
2024 - Preservation Round 2
• Monuments in storage to be repaired and reset
• Existing monument repair
• Monument protection measures
